| The Cottage is ideally situated in the centre of the small village of Clyro, a mile and a half from Hay-on-Wye, where the Victorian Curate and diarist Francis Kilvert lived. The Cottage faces the lychgate of the Church which lies between the old village pound and the small green, where the local stocks would once have stood. It is one of a pair of the oldest, prettiest cottages in the village, near the shop / Post Office and local pub. | |||||
